The Honorable William “Bill” McLeod moved to Texas from British Columbia in 1974 as a child. Bill became a Naturalized Citizen in 2009.
Bill Graduated in 1982 with a Bachelors of Business Administration from Texas A&M, College Station Texas. The following 8 years Bill built a roofing company with as many as 50 employees working with him until a tragic accident left him severely injured and unable to work for a period of several months.
During the recovery period from the roofing accident, Bill determined his best recourse was to hit the books and work to earn a Master’s degree. He received his Masters of Science in 1990 from East Texas State University, now called Texas A&M Commerce Tx. With the Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling, Bill took on a project with a colleague and worked with over 160 special education children ranging from first grade to twelfth grade for 6 years. These amazing children were in 16 different schools in Wise County Texas. The joy of working with the children to help them overcome so many damaging curveballs to be able to hit home runs, some small and some huge but all important and life-changing to each child. Bill’s opportunity to work with the special education children has given him a perspective on life that he carries to this day. Nothing stops Bill from working with strong focused energy for everyone’s individual rights, their personal growth and to bring opportunities to each person that he is honored to work with.
Bill Moved to Houston in 1989 to be with his brother and later attended and became a proud graduate of Thurgood Marshall School of Law earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2001. Bill was licensed to practice law by the Texas Supreme Court in May 2002.
He is a member of the Texas Bar, and too many other organizations and clubs across Texas to list. Bill connects with organizations that are committed and determined to make a positive difference in the lives of us all. Organizations that are committed to the well-being and those that care about the success of everyone across Texas is a trademark to the character of Bill. Seventeen years later from first being licensed to practice law Bill is still dedicated, self-motivated, energetic, with an outstanding upright character and a critical thinker. Bill is currently working with our firm to provide resolution to civil litigation cases with an emphasis on protecting the rights of those that we are dedicated to making sure have the best resolutions to their cases.
Additionally, William “Bill” McLeod will be on the ballot in 2020 as a Candidate for Judge of Harris County Civil Court at Law No. 4. Bill’s energy and commitment are unstoppable for each of our clients and for every individual that lives in Harris County Texas.
