Chance is a trial lawyer who backs up his accolades with record-setting courtroom victories. In 2019 alone, he obtained an eight-figure verdict in a medical malpractice case that was the largest such verdict in Texas that year. In the same year, he also secured two six-figure verdicts in motor vehicle accident trials and one six-figure verdict in an insurance case. Chance is also heavily involved in the Watson Grinding plant explosion that led to the deaths of three individuals in January 2020.

Chance is a member of many professional associations and community groups.
